Your Hosts: Scott & Carol Gould
Carol has always wanted to own a bed and breakfast. The Bethel Hill Bed & Breakfast was created out of a wish to provide upscale guest lodging with a private, relaxed atmosphere, close to the center of activity in historic Bethel village. Carol is a registered nurse, caring for people for nearly a decade. She relied on her talent as a designer and artist to plan and decorate our bed and breakfast.
Scott has a background as a home designer and builder. The couple first met when Scott was a restaurant manager for several years after college. They moved here 25 years ago so that their two sons could attend Gould Academy and Scott could pursue his career as a ski instructor. He is currently a top level PSIA certified instructor and staff trainer at nearby Sunday River Ski Resort.
Scott is happy to provide private lessons & ski tuning demonstrations.
... and as always just talk skiing!
Together they own and rent several vacation homes in the Bethel area under the company name of Androscoggin Home Rentals. Their backgrounds have allowed them to meet and befriend couples and families from around the world.
Carol and Scott would be pleased to host you, respecting your privacy or socializing as you wish. Their extensive knowledge of the area is always available to share.
